Fire guts Worcestershire motor racing factory
Touring car outfit Power Maxed Racing, based at Bretforton, had all three of their race cars destroyed in the blaze, alongside their glittering array of trophies.
The fire took just 20 minutes to rip through the facilities at their site in the Vale of Evesham, and it looked like all hope of competing had faded away.
However, team owner Adam Weaver says that, thanks to the support of the motor racing community, they've managed to secure two cars to compete at the next round of the championships, in spite of everything that has happened.
