Patriotic or divisive?

The village's Parish Council says it wants to remove 'unauthorised flags' from lampposts which come under their direct control and are investigating the costs to do so.

They added they intend to start the process once Armistice Day has passed, and want to hold talks with any groups or individuals who put flags of St George or the union flag up, to discover their reasons for doing so.
