Beloved Hereford roller-rink to close
Based at the Foley Industrial Estate for 12 years, The Core says a new rent increase on the unit they use is unsustainable.
Matt Bushkes set up the not-for-profit facility with his wife to give people of all ages - especially children - a place to skate and practice their skills, as one of the few permanent venues in the area.
He says there is hope, as organisers are looking for a new venue, hoping to remove and re-install the sprung floor they added themselves, following a grant from Sport England.
