Police in Nigeria say security forces have been deployed to try to rescue people abducted by gunmen from a hospital in the central state of Niger. About 20 people - including medics, patients and relatives – were abducted during the raid on Gulu General Hospital in the early hours of Tuesday when the kidnappers opened fire.
