Mosque and church burnt down amid Nairobi protests
A church and mosque in the Kenyan capital were destroyed on Monday following protests.
A church and mosque in Nairobi were destroyed by unknown assailants on Monday night after protestors engaged police in running battles. A day of violence was triggered by protests called by opposition leader, Raila Odinga, over the cost of living crises, as well as the election victory of President William Ruto.
Also we hear from Beninese singer-songwriter, Ang茅lique Kidjo, who has become the third artist from Africa to be awarded prestigious Polar Music Prize
