Mali army, foreign forces accused of killing 500 villagers

The attack happened in March 2022 according to a UN report.

UN human rights investigators say Malian troops and foreign military personnel killed more than 500 people in the village of Moura in central Mali last year. The new report says the killings happened during an operation against a jihadist group.

Sudan’s warring factions have signed an agreement to protect civilians and allow humanitarian aid into the country.

Zimbabwe has scrapped duties and import licenses for basic food items.
