 The Audience Award is the only award decided by listeners and was voted for during January 2007 on the Radio 3 website. A shortlist of 3 was announced on Radio 3's World Routes on 31st March - Balkan Beat Box, Ghada Shbeir and Ojos de Brujo. The winner finally emerged at the Poll-Winner'sÌýConcert asÌýLebanon's Ghada Shbeir, who collected her award live on stage at London's Barbican together withÌýthe award for best artist from the Middle East or North Africa.
