"I work in a studio on the edge of Wales, near the sea. ÌýI paint, I walk and I write. The process of making a painting appear on white paper takes time. The first flash Ìýof inspiration comes and then the hard work of crafting an image. This I do to the company of RadioÌý4. Over years programmes come and go and words and stories fill my brain as paintings grow on the paper. Sometimes they inspire, sometimes they keep me painting, sometimes I cannot see to paint when they bring me to tears, and sometimes they fill my head so full of pictures that I can Ìýonly sit and listen to the soundscapes built inside my mind."
