"I work with stitch using sewing threads, a very slow process, I can sit for hours just covering a few inches of Ìýfabric with stitch, with my companion Radio 4. I work in the afternoons so it is The Archersand the Afternoon Play and all the quarter and half-hour programmes up until PM that are the most familiar. I do miss the hour-long plays and the halcyon days when the Monday play was a 90-minute thriller.
