"'I'm listening to The Archers', which also translates as 'shh, I'll listen to you in ten minutes' - they never can hang on for 15! 'Don't move that, I'm drawing it!' The children are convinced that their mother is obsessed (with Radio 4, drawing, and mushrooms). A page from one of my sketch Ìýbook diaries, started in 1999, at the start of a new century to hand down to my children. Drawn in daily, they record our family life, my working life as an artist, what's happening in our world and more often than not, what I'm listening to."
