Ìý"I started painting about four years ago and find listening to the radio, usually Radio 4, gives me the inspiration and Ìýenthusiasm to actually make a start on that blank sheet of Ìýwatercolour paper. Listening to the varied subjects covered on the radio programmes takes me away into a very different world that can be so informative, funny, Ìýentertaining and sometimes deeply moving. As time passes by, so quickly it seems, I find my painting has taken shape and my mind filled with many interesting ideas for future paintings. The radio is my constant companion."
