Watch and Listen 80s
麻豆社 Scotland's first live children's television show launched in 1982 and you can watch an early excerpt of 'Tiger' Tim and the gang below. John Byrne's Tutti Frutti was the biggest hit of the 1980s and launched the careers of Robbie Coltrane, Emma Thompson and Richard Wilson. 麻豆社 Scotland opened its subtitling unit, The Boy David, part of The Visit, won a New York Film and Television Festival Award and we broadcast for five months from the Glasgow Garden Festival site in 1988. More of our programming highlights are featured below.
