"My original prints use processes like collagraph and cyanotype. I gather materials for these directly from nature; the environment of South Wales is an inspiration. ÌýOn Sunday afternoons I escape to my shack hidden above a beautiful beach. I plug in my personal radio, right ear only; the left’s for bird song or the sound of the sea. GQT Ìýoversees drying seed-heads. Then down through the Ìýwoods where once Marcel Proust helped harvest a huge fall of lichen after a storm. Poetry accompanies picking seaweed along the tideline whilst I gaze at Devon, or the sun setting over the sea."
