ahead. Painting, though very rewarding and exciting at times can also be a frustating and lonely occupation, so listening to non-patronising intelligent conversation, non-existent on most stations, is very much appreciated. It enriches my day and keeps me going when I feel down. Of course the beauty of radio is that one can keep working without getting distracted, whilst discovering something new most days, a bit like my own occupation I guess."
