I totally agree with that but for me it also works that radio inspires one to produce Ìýbetter pictures. As I listen to the dramas etc, in my mind I am setting the scene, and that allows another part of my imagination to roam freely when I put paint to canvas. There's also some satisfaction that in parts of the finished painting I can look back on and say to myself 'I remember that part of the bridge/building/figures was painted whilst Sherlock Holmes solved a certain crime or what was Ìýhappening in 'This Sceptred Isle', so reminiscenses also add to the pleasure."
