"I have used the radio as background for years while painting; especially Jeremy Vine on Radio 2. I do tend to switch over to Classic fm for the relaxing afternoon show; Ìýbut feel myself beginning to migrate to Radio 3 & 4 to avoid the repetitive commercials. I particularly enjoy classical music & like it to 'wash over' me as I paint.I feel that much of the above imagery is reflected in classical music. I have developed a habit of tapping my brushes Ìýwhen rinsing them; which is similar to a conductor tapping his batons."
